How to Update Your Google Business Hours in 60 Seconds

If Google says you’re open and you’re not, you just lost a customer. And they probably won’t give you a second chance.

In this quick walkthrough, I’ll show you how to update your regular hours and holiday hours on your Google Business Profile in about 60 seconds. No tech skills needed.

Quick tips:
✔️ Check your hours at least once a month, because Google can update your listing without telling you
✔️ Set special hours for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and any day you close unexpectedly
✔️ When Google emails you about your profile, use it as a reminder to check your details
✔️ Watch out for fake “Google” emails and calls. Always go to your profile directly instead of clicking links

I’m Kae, a Google Ads Partner certified since 2015, and I’ve spent 11 years managing accounts for home service businesses — plumbers, HVAC, electricians, roofers. In this video I walk through how to update your business hours and special hours on Google Business Profile, using a real account as the example. No guesswork, no theory — just what Google actually cares about.
